Why is AM talk show so unlistenable? And what’s with the pathetic sponsors?

Have you ever tried to listen to the popular AM talk show hosts? It almost seems there is more commercial than program. But what really sucks is that the same old commercials play over and over-so many times they give you a headache after just one night of listening.
If that is not bad enough, look at the kinds of products sold. I swear half of what they advertise is financial products for people who can’t manage a budget. What the heck kind of people must listen to those programs on a regular basis then? The smartest people-as they say??? Then the sex aids, adrenaline pills, stuff for aching bodies etc. They do have a few normal vendors but most are really pathetic products. The kind of stuff you go to Wallgreens at midnight wearing a trench coat and ski beenie cap to buy.

How on earth does anyone sit and listen day after day? I tried but turning my radio off and on for the commercials is demanding and distracting-there are so many of them.
Figures I’d get at least one mindless insult. If you write something, make it intelligent and have a point. Oh I am a gold bug myself. I do like to keep some physical assets but the gold salespeople are trying to push the physical stuff way too much. ETF’s make lots more sense as do foreign and domestic gold stocks. Too much overhead with physical gold and too difficult to leverage and short. Risk of theft, delivery fees, premiums added to bullion price, etc. They push physical gold over alternatives but give no good reasons why-just fear mongerings.

How to avoid/tame frizzy hair (For a guy)?

I’m growing my hair out and would like it about Cody Simpsons length (Google him if you wish, this has absoloutly nothing to do with his music, or personality, so don’t slate me for mentioning him), but I’ve had it short before that and started growing it out about 3 weeks ago so it isn’t really that long, but it isn’t short… I just got it trimmed today so it looks better but when I get out of the shower, a short time after it gets very frizzy. How can I prevent/stop the frizz? It looks horrible. I don’t want to wear a baseball cap/beenie, so what can I do? I’m from the UK & 15. Thanks!

Before we get to the solution, we need to address the root of the problem. What causes frizzy hair? Some people are simply born with it. Their hair is coarse, and it lacks protein. If you live in an area with high humidity, your chances of having frizzy hair are much higher. Also, using too many hair products can dry your hair it, and it becomes frizzy easier. Lastly, using straight irons, curlers, and blow dryers will dry your hair out and make it frizzier.

The first thing you can do is to stop being so rough on your hair. In other words, consider using heating appliances every other day instead of daily. Also, when you dry your hair, don’t rub it with a towel. Instead, use a small towel to gently squeeze the water out of your hair. Lastly, avoid placing so many products in your hair. Gel, mousse, and hairspray all diminish the health of your hair. Reducing your use of them will help in taming frizzy hair
