2. All the boys had their hair in ‘curtains’.
3. You had a huge fringe at some point in your childhood.
4. You remember reading and watching “Goosebumps”.
5. You bought Smash Hits Magazine for the song lyrics.
6. You remember the craze of YoYo’s and Tamagotchis (and the subsequent banning of them in school).
7. You still get the urge to say “Not” after every sentence. Not.
8. You knew that Kimberley, the Pink Ranger, and Tommy, the Green Ranger, were meant to be.
9. You collected Pokémon cards.
10. You played and collected Pogs.
11. You had a weird alien that lived in gooey stuff in a plastic ‘pod’ & thought that if you stuck 2 back to back they would have a baby!
12. You watched the original Postman Pat, Fireman Sam and Ninja Turtles.
13. You remember when the new Beenie Babies were always sold out.
14. You shouted “LEG IT!” when running away from something..
15. You used to wear those stick on earings, not only on your ears but at the corners of your eyes.
16. You know the Macarena by heart and Saturday Night too.
17. “Talk to the hand”.
18. Everyone ate Fruit Salads and Black Jacks.
19. You thought that Brain from “Pinkey and the Brain” actually could take over the world.
20. You remember Bum Bags, they weren’t even cool then.
21. You always wanted to be on Fun House.
22. You had / wanted / hated Furbys.
23. 2 words, Spice Girls.
24. “Clarissa Explains It All” and “Saved By The Bell” were your favourite shows.
25. You wore as many shag bands as you could fit on your arm.
26. You wore jelly shoes.
27. You wanted lights in your trainers like the cool kids.
28. Nintendo was replaced by Super Nintendo (sorry but the Princess is in another castle).
29. Computer screens were black (or green) with white writing.
30. You ever encouraged a chubby friend to do the Truffle Shuffle.
31. Conkers was a serious playground sport.

    @ihaveashed i know.. i’ve got a niece but she lives with me, and i feel sorry for her, there’s hardly anything she likes, but she loves all these old programs that are played late at night on nick jr :)

    honestly… i think …
    honestly… i think the ’90’s was the best time for KIDS.
    i understand when people think the ’80’s and ’70’s were good but for KIDS… the ’90’s rocked. all the programmes on then won’t compare to half the shite on tv for kids right now. proud to be a ’90’s kid :)

    bringin it back to the good ol’ 90’s….seems like every decade is known for something specific….what the is 2000-2010 going to be remembered for?? being some of the worst times in history??? at least i got to live the first part of life in a somewhat normal times….feel bad for the late 90 early 2000 kids, got hectic

    i used to freak out and not be able to sleep after watchiing “are you afraid of the dark”, last week i watched the episode that scared me the most, the one with the clown, and maaan i felt good…the animaniacs ROCKED! and hey arnold was one of the best shows ever

    Tazos were banned from my school too – along with pokemon cars, marbles, weird little monster things called gogz or something… schools just wished to ruin childrens happiness!

    OMG I forgot some of these shows!! I totally remember watching them now. Those were the days – kids shows now are terrible. You also forgot: Tazos (which were also banned from my school), MJ’s Black or White, Free Willy, Home Alone, Pokemon, Arthur, Space Jam, Captain Planet, Babar, Full House, wearing your hat backwards, tying your jumper around your waist, floral leggings, frilly dresses, full length denim dresses and jackets and art attack!!

    lol..top cat wasnt from the 90’s…its from the 60’s my dad used to watch it when he was a kid…and he wa sborn in 1953 lol…but good try on soem of them i think smurfs and snorks were both also from the 60’s but liek i said good try on most
